Meditation coaching and training

Meditation coaching and training

My work is informed by a lifelong meditation, yoga, movement, and creative practice. I love to explore and to share the benefits of this practice.

Alongside my professional teaching experience, I have accumulated some 5,000+ hours of meditation practice since 1992, mostly within the Vipassana Foundation tradition. This practice has so far included over a dozen silent ten-day retreats in the UK, Sri Lanka and Japan. I am also deeply involved with yoga, dance, and other movement practices, and have accumulated some 2,000+ hours of work in these domains.

While I don’t yet have an accredited meditation teaching qualification, I do have a post-graduate certificate in education (PGCE), and over 25 years of experience in training, coaching, and mentoring – from my early work as a teacher in Further Education, schools, and community centres, my work as a trainer and coach for General Assembly, and my training and consultancy work for Adobe and as a freelance design consultant.

Iʼve taught meditation in various capacities, including guided sessions for large groups of over 1,000 participants, small groups of between 3 – 40, and more recently meditation coaching one to one.

I’d love to hear from you if you’d be interested in mindfulness training or coaching. An area of special interest to me right now is one to one meditation coaching. I am currently offering one to one meditation coaching for free to help me build experience in this area.
